Hi, I’m Yvonne Weld, owner of ABLE Virtual Assistant Services, located in beautiful Port Franks, Ontario, Canada.
Many times I am asked why my clients marketing isn’t working and I have found that when someone’s marketing isn’t working it is usually due to one of the following reasons:
- Lack of knowledge of how to market their business effectively
- Lack of time to build while at the same time maintaining their existing business
- Absolutely no motivation because it isn’t an area that you have an expertise or a desire to utilize your efforts
- Fear, resistance and procrastination
I absolutely love marketing and all things marketing and this is why I have focused my business on helping other businesses achieve the results they are looking for. I’ve been where you are; I’ve started a business, I’ve struggled to attract clients and I’ve struggled to find the time to maintain my existing clients. I know what it takes to regain the momentum you are looking for. In the five years I have been in business I have tried many things until I truly found my passion and something I am truly good at; marketing. I have learned from experience and I have helped others that are struggling to find the success they are looking for and I can help you too.
As a graduate of the Small Business Centre, I have the professional training to complement my practical skills and know what it takes to run a successful business. I bring close to 20 years administrative experience to my business and two diplomas, including Legal Assistant and Computerized Bookkeeping and Accounting. Many clients rely on me to assist them to keep their business running smoothly. They value my opinion and often ask for advice regarding potential business decisions.
I love being a Virtual Assistant and as such believe in giving back to my Virtual Assistant family through coaching, training and mentoring new Virtual Assistants to reach their goal of having a successful business. I am also a Success Partner with Canadian Virtual Assistant Network mentoring and coaching Virtual Assistants as they begin their own business.
Additionally, I am the author of The Ultimate Guide to Creating a Thriving Business, a guidebook that takes you step by step through the process of creating a Procedures Manual for your business, protecting your business from unexpected absences due to injury, sickness or even death. I am also the co-author, along with my good friend Sally Kuhlman, of Managing Your Thriving Business for Success, a book that provides tips and advice with respect to scheduling, time management, goal setting, stress management, determining return on investment and other management topics.
I love to write and you can read some of my articles at my blog which are written to help you, the small business owner, create and maintain a thriving business. It is this love of writing that has become an integral part of some of the services that I am able to provide to my clients. I seem to have that natural ability of being able to say what others can’t seem to find the words to express.
In 2008, I took ABLE Virtual Assistant Services in a new direction and introduced a team of Virtual Assistants each with their own expertise. This allows ABLE Virtual Assistant Services to truly be ABLE to meet your every need as a business owner.
